If you want a title for your notes today, this is it...
3 + 1 = 4
I want to begin by quoting Jesus in John 14-16.
Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me
I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.
You know him (Spirit of truth), for he lives with you and will be in you.
The Spirit of truth... will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.
Who is the 3 plus the one here?
And here?
18And having come near, Jesus spake to them, saying, ‘Given to me was all authority in heaven and on earth; 19having gone, then, disciple all the nations, (baptizing them—to the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all, whatever I did command you,) and lo, I am with you all the days—till the full end of the age.’ Matthew 28:19

14May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2Corinthians 13

4There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called—5one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. 7But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. Ephesians 4

20But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. 21Keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. Jude

Personal experience – I have always struggled with seeing God at a distance. I am looking for truth. I close my eyes. I ask them (the Godhead) to let me see them. They are on the other side of a thick piece of Plexiglas. They can see me and I them but they cannot get to me. I say to Father will you walk through this glass, Jesus, and then Holy Spirit. Each of them walk through the glass and stand with me. I then suggest we blow on the wall. One, two, three---blooowww. Down goes the wall and the moisture from our breath melts it. And I cry and cry. What has changed? Everything. They came to where I was. But that is not the end of the story. For two weeks I am studying about the Holy Spirit, asking for fresh eyes. Keep hitting a wall.
New experience – The Godhead who is with me says, “what you are looking for you cannot find here. You must now walk with us through the Plexiglas wall.” The 3 + 1 = 4 of us all turn and walk back through a Plexiglas wall.
AND OPEN go the eyes of my spirit – because we don’t live from our heads but our hearts.

Yet ANOTHER experience of living from a place of wholeness.
