Vision:  A Key to Creating

Kinds of vision
    Natural
    Creative – Spirit Vision

Creative Vision – Vision with the power to create your future – this is the vision that builds individuals, builds wealth, builds cities and builds nations…

Proverbs 29:18
Amplified: Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish
KJV: Where there is no vision, the people perish
NIV: Where is no revelation, the people cast off restraint
ESV: Where is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint

To some degree we are becoming blind in our creative realm – we cannot see with our mind’s eye where we are going…

Instead -
We see what we have – where we have been – where we are now in whatever circumstances presently exist

We must realize -
We get more of what we focus on…

Shifting gears…

What is potential energy?  Stored energy

What is kinetic energy?  Energy in motion

We have a vast supply of potential energy ready to be released to kinetic energy

What has to happen to release this potential energy and convert it to kinetic energy?

We have to have a vision of where we are going – what we are creating – how beautiful that place will look

We have to become blind to the circumstances of what we see – what we already created unknowingly – and focus on purpose on what we want to create and draw into our lives

Philippians 3:13-14
Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own.  But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

We don’t focus on what is or what was, we focus on what should or will be.

We reach forth from our mind’s eye into those things before (in front) of us

We continue to press forward to the mark (previously concealed idea or thing) not for us, but because of our purpose (assignment) for God on this earth in Christ Jesus.

Once you have that vision – Don’t Look Back

Luke 9:62
Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Once you have your vision – stay focused on it and don’t go back and forth seeing pictures that cause you to waver between fear and faith.

In Prov 29:18 vision means revelation or Godly creative vision and the word perish means naked or uncovered.

Where there is no Godly vision my people are made naked and uncovered – susceptible to the plans of the world – without God’s Spiritual covering

Habakkuk 2:2
And the Lord answered my: Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.

Translated from Greek and Hebrew:
The Lord answered (said pay attention to me, Habakkuk had been complaining), and said write (engrave) this (Godly) vision, make it plain (explain it completely) upon tablets (or paper), that he may run (when someone else reads your vision and understands it because he know it is truth) that readeth (proclaim it out loud) it.

Write it and explain your vision fully and in detail so when someone you trust reads it, it will make perfect sense and he or she will support your vision and get on it and proclaim it out loud to others.

Having key people see and agree with your vision is important – the power of agreement is tremendous

Write your vision down – as you change and become more of the person or tribe God has created you to be – your vision will change and the picture will become clearer and more complete – but never finished…

With Vision your purpose brings forth fruit…  Our vision is never just about us but about those that are crossing and will cross your path

Four types of Spiritual vision in the Word:

The Vision (Chazan – ha-zan’) of mortal sight, a dream or revelation
See with Spirit eyes what you stay focused on when creating your day in purpose;  Daniel 8:2 – “And I saw in the vision; and when I saw, I was in Susa the citadel, which is in the province of Elam.  And I saw in the vision, and I was at the Ulai canal.
I see visions – so clearly I see people and most of the time I call or write to tell them what I see –
While rising to get ready for work and while driving in I see a vision of the day – of hectic activity all around – often I see a “soft” space around me where there is Peace.  As the pace of the day and pressure for response from me increases there is a Peace that physically presses into me that feels like it even slows my heart down and my thoughts become more deliberate
On the days I don’t do see that for myself I can feel frustration and agitation and I struggle to find that place of peace
It’s only at the end of those days that I realize what happened to me
On my walk to the car and drive home it’s like the day gets washed off me as I turn the eyes of my spirit to home and to Vicki and again that soft place comes back - so I can see Vicki with clear eyes though tired

The Vision of seeing something come from the Holy Spirit. Ezekiel 11:24 – “And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me in the vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to the exiles.  Then the vision that I had seen went up from me.”  You are given a vision by the Holy Spirit for a reason or a purpose.

The Vision gazed at (horama - ho'-rä-mä ).  Visions should be spoken of often with no fear.  Acts 18:9 – “And the Lord said to Paul one night in a vision, Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent…”
God is giving you insights through visions
Don’t be afraid to put into action what you see by doing the next thing that comes to mind regarding that thing that is near to your spirit
Often in the night watches when your mind rests, your spirit is more open to hear and to see – don’t be surprised to get the answers or direction you need in these times – suggest you put a pen and paper beside where you are resting so that should you wake – write it down

The vision one receives when in a trance or in the Spirit (machazeh – makh-az-eh’), - vision received with your eyes open, you are awake but you see someone or something not of this world – Numbers 24:4 – “the oracle of him who hears the words of God, who sees the vision of the Almighty, falling down with his eyes uncovered”

Have you ever had the experience like driving down a road and all of a sudden not remembering the last few minutes of driving, but you were able to safely navigate it on the road?
Similarly as you sat or even while running or exercising
Something has been transacted in the Spirit that may you may not be able to bring to your conscious mind – don’t fret it will come – like a download working in the background – what you need is being provided

What you focus on you get more of – Focus with your eyes on what is the truth, plant it in your heart, and speak what you see in your heart, thereby attracting and creating more of the same…

The choice:
You can say with words, thoughts and actions
“Let my day create the circumstances in my life, thereby turning over any power I may have had to the world”, or
I am stepping into a day filled with my God-given creative abilities
and then create your day…

Biggest apprehension to creating your day –
You would have to take responsibility for the day you created.
You no longer assume the role of victim.
You no longer believe that events and circumstances in your life are created by outside forces

In doing this you take responsibility for events and circumstances, but mostly how you respond to them – you start to change your life on purpose…

It is in God’s Presence that your day is created – Matthew 6:33 – “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

God’s will is that you do all things with Him
That you pursue the purpose He has given you and created you for
That you pursue the road with Him

Anything that drives you away from Him, He does not want for you

If you are seeking Him because of your bad circumstances, then when your circumstances change to the better the tendency is to no longer seek Him because everything is going better…

Once you reach the point that you seek Him diligently in all you do, no matter how much He has given you, you are then ready to step into fully what He called you to do.
He then knows that wealth, health, power and money do not mean that much to you – but that what He says has the greatest weight in your life

Now if you approach life from that perspective do you think that from that point on it’s going to be smooth sailing – no difficulties?

2 Corinthians 1:4
God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God

We see what the world calls “troubles” from a new perspective as we recognize the truth of who we are – the truth of who the people are with whom seem to be the bringers of trouble – the promises of God in all situations
All that can be realized in a moment allowing you to truly see the truth of the moment as you weigh your response to the moment in a way that reflects grace in the moment
That response changes the situation and the people involved in that moment – you choose in what direction that change occurs
Sometimes the change will be delayed because initially it won’t be understood since it is discerned in the Spirit – but change will occur to accomplish the purpose of the moment
Each moment of your life has purpose – never doubt that – there is no such thing as an insignificant moment in your life – for you are a Spirit being that for lives within and without the confines of time – at the same time

Canaan talked choosing to have joy as he moved into a work day that changed his outlook for the day – He was given Spirit eyes to see the day from a new perspective – to have a job where he is helping others – to see the precious woman that is his wife – to see his daughter – the miracle of life formed from the love they shared.

He created his day so that no matter the circumstances, they would be turned to joy.

Joy – that word I think creates problems for many for the picture that comes from it is of an unreal state of mind – feeling good all the time
Joy is the settled assurance that God is in control of all the details of my life, the quiet confidence that ultimately everything is going to be alright, and the determined choice to praise God in every situation.
For those things we don’t understand we choose to ask to show us what we are to learn from the circumstances to which we are now exposed – the truth of them – not relying on how they make us feel – knowing that no matter what there is a way as we navigate through our current situation – doing the next thing we know to do with each step we take

James 1:2
“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.”

From original Greek – “Command it all to be calm delight when you are put to the proof and surrounded by various and manifold circumstances.”

You must not be swayed by what you see but command joy in your life no matter what.

James 1:3 “for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.”

“Being absolutely resolved that the testing of your trustworthiness and conviction and reliance upon Christ fully accomplishes (fashions like a tool) cheerful endurance.”

James 1:4 “And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”

Moreover, let cheerful endurance hold complete mental and moral growth through this toil, that you may stand complete mentally and morally and whole in every part absent of nothing, not even one thing.
So then your chosen response actually serves to complete you so that you lack nothing – absent this circumstance or situation you would not have gained what you need for the next moment and for the future…

James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”

“Moreover if any person is absent of spiritual or worldly wisdom let him beg, crave, call for this from God that brings forth to all bountifully and without defamation and chiding (scolding) and it shall be committed to him.”

We don’t just say God, please grant me wisdom in this circumstance and if you don’t hear or see something immediately say, Well God’s not talking to me.  No!

We must beg and crave from our very essence.  KNOW He has the answer and His answer is the perfect answer.  He has laid it up for you for a time such as this.

James 1:6 “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.”

Also let him beg, crave, desire, call out in reliance upon Christ and in consistency never withdrawing from or doubting this because he that withdraws and doubts resembles a surging and raging wave of the sea tossed with the wind and agitated.

James 1:7 “For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord”

But let not that type of man-faced being imagine that he shall take hold of any thing whatsoever from the supreme authority.

James 1:8 “he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”

“He is a two-spirited man or two-faced being vacillating in both opinion and purpose is inconsistent in every journey he takes.”  In other words how you do one thing is how you do every thing.

We often read James 1:6-8 and hear the world tell us one thing and the Body of Christ tell us another and as a result begin to question our purpose.

It’s easy to slide into the thinking that we are not worthy and we spiral down to a place of no power.  This is a place of being a victim.

Actually James 1:6-8 is saying we are to maintain our positive affirmations of who we are in Christ and consistently read the vision of our purpose.

These are our anchors to keep us from being tossed to and fro.

We focus on the prize – not the circumstances

IT IS NOT ABOUT YOU!!!

It is about what you were created to do in the Kingdom of God – your Kingdom Purpose – we each have a unique purpose

You are not a wimp – You are a Warrior which is why you have the armor..

Satan is the enemy – he wants to steal your purpose and your vision – That’s his job as tester and tempter.

He is not after you – He is after your purpose.

His job is to keep you from stepping into that purpose because when you do, it shortens his time on this earth…

We all go through trials – 1 Peter 4:12 “beloved think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you.”

Peter is telling us trials happen and we are supposed to stay the course…

When you are going through a trial, when all “hell” is breaking loose around you, what do you do?  Where do you go for help?

Have you ever thought that “hell” is breaking loose around you BECAUSE you are moving in your purpose?

That the harassment and opposition of the moment can only be overcome as you hold to your course – to your purpose – to the place to which you have been called?

Each of you have been strategically placed exactly where you are right now –
in this body
in friendships
in relationships
in work places - in the lives of the people there
in the community
in other nations
in grocery stores
in gymnastic competition
in children’s baseball tournaments
in schools as students and teachers
in gyms where you teach and exercise
in interviews
in publishing magazines
in your homes
in the lives of your family
in places of providing care
in senate chambers
in the state capitol
in nuclear plants
in forests
in seafood plants
in building projects
in moving in places no one else sees
in restaurants
in hospitals
in college campuses
in providing services for others…

Your presence makes a difference – count on it – I know God does

Create your day in Him
pray as you move
remember the day is not about you
step into your purpose for the day and hold your course
finish each moment well…

Let’s pray:

I declare over you that
Each of you have a God given purpose and I know that God is causing the grace and strength and mercy to rise up in you to move through your present circumstances
to give you eyes to see Him in the middle of it all
to give you the Hope you need to keep moving
as He comes along side you to help you navigate what seems like an impossible path.
He declares – There is ALWAYS a way – hold My hand and let’s get moving.
I bless you as you leave this place today and tell you that everything that has happened up to this moment in your life is history
He has taken each experience and redeeming each so that you may stand complete mentally and morally and whole in every part absent of nothing, not even one thing
I pray strength over you in the Next thing you choose to do as a new man or woman or girl or boy
for He is taking all that stuff and blowing away all that has no eternal meaning and forming you to fulfill the purpose to which He created you to fulfill so that you lack nothing...
